About us

PURPOSE

A division of Global Tech Advocates, the Future of Work group (GTA FoW) is a global think tank of over 500 business leaders working across 18 countries, spanning the full organisational and functional spectrum representing a global workforce of over 10 million. As the age-old adage suggests, the only thing constant in life is change. Through our leadership, industry standing and collective resources, our aim is to help shine a light on the future way of working and suggest best practice, as we work toward a shared goal of creating a global workforce that succeeds from the individual employee to the employer.

With the goal of establishing ourselves as the foremost and trusted source of remote, flexible and hybrid working knowledge worldwide, we help people and organisations thrive amid evolving global workplace and workforce dynamics. We do this by sharing and creating content and research, commenting on, challenging, suggesting, and comparing information around how the future of work is evolving. Together we tackle emerging issues, promote discussion, and provide resources on remote, flexible and hybrid working, as well as guide businesses on how to adapt. We partner to produce events that help drive positive personal and organisational change as the professional landscape continues to evolve.

GTA FoW Group stems from  Tech London Advocates (TLA) and Global Tech Advocates (GTA), which is a network of more than 10,000 tech leaders, entrepreneurs and experts in London, across the UK and in over 50 countries worldwide. Founded by Russ Shaw CBE and proudly independent, private sector-led, and not backed by government, Tech London Advocates (TLA) and Global Tech Advocates fundamentally believes that London is one of the world’s leading tech hubs.

VISION

Through our collaboration with future of work experts worldwide, we promote best practice and insights that are accessible to all – enabling both employees and companies to thrive, organisations to be more productive and making the workplace more inclusive.

Long-time advocates for flexible working and members of the Tech London Advocates and Global Tech Advocates, Zoltan and Louisa founded the GTA Future of Work Group through their own networks and the network of the TLA/GTA, which, despite its relatively short tenure to date, has grown exponentially into the global think tank of industry leaders it is today.
